Mature height

A vining plant with trailing or climbing stems that can reach lengths of 6–10 feet or more.

Mature width

The vines will create a full, beautiful display in a hanging basket or can be trained to climb a trellis.

Spacing

Best grown in a hanging basket to allow its colorful vines to trail, or on a trellis where its growth habit can be appreciated.

Features thick, waxy, almond-shaped leaves with a 'reverse' variegation. The center of each leaf is a creamy-white or pale yellow, surrounded by a thick, irregular margin of deep green. The vining stems are often a vibrant pink.

Flowering Period & Fruit

Once mature, it produces ball-shaped clusters of fragrant, star-shaped, pale pink flowers with a reddish corona.

Sun Tolerance

Requires bright, indirect light to thrive and maintain its vibrant variegation. A spot with some gentle, direct morning sun is ideal for encouraging pink tones

Maintenance

Easy. A very drought-tolerant plant perfect for beginners. Water thoroughly only when the soil has dried out completely. It thrives and flowers best when kept pot-bound. Do not remove old flower spurs (peduncles).

Root System

An epiphytic root system that requires a very chunky, airy, and fast-draining potting mix to prevent rot.
