A very fast-growing vining plant with stems that can easily reach lengths of 10–15 feet or more.

Mature width

The vigorous vines will quickly cover a trellis or form a full, cascading hanging basket.

Spacing

Best grown in a hanging basket to allow its vines to trail, or on a sturdy trellis for it to climb.

Features beautiful, oval to rounded, glossy leaves in a solid, deep green color. New growth often emerges with a lovely reddish or bronze tint.

A reliable and prolific bloomer, producing ball-shaped clusters of star-shaped, pure white flowers with a red-centered corona. The blooms are highly fragrant, especially in the evening.

Sun Tolerance

Prefers bright, indirect light. A spot with several hours of gentle, direct morning sun will encourage abundant flowering.

Maintenance

Easy. A drought-tolerant plant that thrives on some neglect. Water thoroughly only when the soil has dried out completely. It flowers best when kept pot-bound. Do not remove old flower spurs (peduncles).

Root System

An epiphytic root system that requires a very chunky, airy, and fast-draining potting mix to prevent rot.
