Develops an open, airy habit with a width of approximately 3–4 feet

Best as a standalone floor plant where its graceful form and large leaves can be appreciated without being crowded.

Features exceptionally large, thin, heart-shaped leaves with prominent, deep veining. The vibrant green leaves are held on long, thin stalks, giving the plant a graceful and architectural appearance.

Flowering Period & Fruit

Flowering and fruiting are exceptionally rare indoors. Note: This plant has a milky white sap that can be a skin irritant. Keep away from pets and children.

Sun Tolerance

Requires plenty of bright, indirect light to thrive. It can tolerate a couple of hours of gentle morning sun but should be protected from hot afternoon sun.

Maintenance

Easy to Moderate. Allow the top 1-2 inches of soil to dry out before watering thoroughly. It can drop leaves if over or underwatered. Prune to shape and encourage branching as desired.

Root System

A fibrous root system that prefers a chunky, well-aerating potting mix and is happy to be slightly pot-bound, which helps prevent overwatering.
