Plant Details:

Mature height

As a groundcover, it remains 6–8 inches tall. Its trailing or climbing vines can reach lengths of 5–10 feet or more.

Mature width

Spreads indefinitely to form a lush mat. Regular trimming may be needed to keep its vigorous growth contained in garden settings.

For a fast, dense groundcover, space new plants 1–2 feet apart.

Features beautiful, star-shaped, five-lobed leaves. The center of each leaf is a lovely grey-green, surrounded by a wide, irregular margin of bright, buttery yellow to chartreuse.

Flowering Period & Fruit

Flowering is uncommon, especially on indoor plants. If produced, the subsequent berries are poisonous to humans and pets.

Sun Tolerance

Maintenance

Easy. A tough and forgiving plant. Water when the top inch of soil is dry. Trim the vines as needed to encourage a fuller, bushier plant and to control its spread.

A fibrous root system in the soil, with aerial rootlets along its stems that allow it to cling to surfaces and root as it spreads.
