Plant Details:

Mature height

As a groundcover, it stays 6–8 inches tall. Its trailing or climbing vines can easily reach lengths of 5–10 feet or more.

Mature width

Spreads indefinitely to form a dense mat. Its vigorous growth should be contained to prevent it from becoming invasive in garden settings.

Spacing

For a quick, dense groundcover, space new plants 1–2 feet apart.

Features attractive, three to five-lobed leaves with a mottled grey-green center, patches of silvery-grey, and a distinct, irregular margin of creamy-white.

Sun Tolerance

Very adaptable. Thrives in partial sun to shade. For the brightest variegation, a spot with bright, indirect light is ideal. Protect from intense, direct sun.

Maintenance

Easy. A tough and forgiving plant. Water when the top inch of soil is dry. Trim the vines regularly to encourage a fuller, more compact shape and to keep its vigorous growth in check.

Root System

A fibrous root system in the soil, with numerous aerial rootlets along its stems that allow it to cling to surfaces.
