Plant Details:

Mature height

Forms a low mound 6–8 inches tall, with trailing vines that can reach lengths of 3–5 feet or more.

Mature width

Can spread to 1–2 feet wide as a potted plant, with an indefinite spread as a groundcover.

Spacing

Perfect as a 'spiller' in container arrangements or spaced 1–2 feet apart for a quick groundcover.

Foliage

Features small, delicate, five-pointed leaves. The center of each leaf is a beautiful, mottled silvery-green, surrounded by a distinct and irregular margin of creamy-white.

Flowering Period & Fruit

Flowering is uncommon, especially on indoor plants. If produced, the subsequent berries are poisonous to humans and pets.

Sun Tolerance

Very adaptable. Thrives in conditions from partial sun to shade. For the brightest variegation, a spot with bright, indirect light is ideal. Protect from intense, direct sun.

Maintenance

Easy. A tough and forgiving plant that is tolerant of some drought. Water when the top inch of soil is dry. Trim the vines regularly to encourage a fuller, more compact shape.

Root System

A fibrous root system in the soil, with aerial rootlets along its stems that allow it to trail and climb.
