Dracaena Marginata 'Sunshine'

A slow-grower that can eventually reach a tall, tree-like height of 5–8 feet indoors.

The top canopy of leaves can spread to 2 feet wide, but the overall profile is very slim.

Ideal as a tall, sculptural floor plant for a bright corner or next to a window.

Evergreen

Features long, narrow, sword-like leaves in spiky rosettes at the ends of woody canes. The leaves have a fine green margin and are dominated by a very broad, central stripe of bright, sunny yellow.

Flowering is exceptionally rare indoors; this plant is grown for its unique, sculptural form and bright foliage.

Prefers bright, indirect light to maintain its brilliant yellow variegation. The yellow may fade in lower light. Avoid direct, harsh sun which can burn the leaves.

Easy. An extremely durable and drought-tolerant plant. Water thoroughly only when the top 50% of the soil has dried out. Using filtered water is beneficial to prevent brown leaf tips.

A robust, fleshy root system that makes the plant very drought-tolerant. It prefers to be kept snug in its pot and requires a fast-draining potting mix.
