Dracaena 'Marginata Magenta'

A slow-grower that can eventually reach a tall, tree-like height of 6–10 feet indoors.

The top canopy of leaves can spread to 2–3 feet wide, but the overall profile is very slim.

Ideal as a tall, sculptural floor plant for tight corners or next to furniture where a vertical element is needed.

Evergreen

Features long, narrow, ribbon-like leaves that form spiky rosettes at the ends of slender, woody trunks. The deep green leaves are sharply edged with a brilliant margin of rich magenta or purplish-red.

Flowering is exceptionally rare indoors; this plant is grown for its unique, sculptural form and colorful foliage.

Prefers bright, indirect light to maintain the most intense magenta coloring. The color may be less pronounced in lower light. Avoid direct sun.

Easy. An extremely durable and drought-tolerant plant perfect for beginners. Water thoroughly only when the top 50% of the soil has dried out. Using filtered water is beneficial to prevent brown leaf tips.

A robust, fleshy root system that makes the plant very drought-tolerant. It prefers to be kept snug in its pot and requires a fast-draining potting mix.
