Cyclamen 'Red'

Grows to a compact height of 6–12 inches, including the flower stalks.

Forms a neat mound of leaves approximately 6–12 inches wide.

Deciduous Perennial. This plant grows and flowers from fall through spring, then the foliage dies back as it enters summer dormancy. The tuber will rest and can be resprouted in the fall.

Features beautiful, heart-shaped, deep green leaves that are intricately patterned with stunning, silvery-green markings.

Produces a profusion of elegant, upswept flowers on long, slender stems from fall through spring. This variety features blooms in a brilliant, true red.

Prefers bright, indirect light and cool temperatures. A spot near a cool east or north-facing window is often ideal. Keep away from hot sun and heating vents.

Moderate. Water at the base of the plant when the soil feels slightly dry. Avoid getting water on the central crown or leaves to prevent rot. Gradually reduce water as leaves yellow in spring to initiate dormancy.

Grows from a round, flattened tuber that is susceptible to rot. Requires a well-draining potting mix and should be planted with the top of the tuber slightly exposed.
