Calathea 'White Fusion'

Grows to a compact, bushy height of 1.5–2 feet.

Forms a full clump approximately 1.5–2 feet wide.

A prized specimen best suited for a controlled environment like a greenhouse cabinet, terrarium, or a very humid bathroom with a bright window.

Evergreen

Features stunning, lance-shaped leaves with a delicate, paper-thin texture. The foliage displays a marbled variegation of pure white and shades of green, often with hints of lilac. The undersides are a uniform, pale magenta or lilac-purple.

Flowering is extremely rare indoors; this plant's value is entirely in its magnificent, variegated foliage.

Requires bright, indirect light only. The white parts of the leaves have no chlorophyll and are extremely susceptible to sunburn. Do not expose to any direct sunlight.

High / For Experienced Gardeners. This plant is notoriously demanding. It requires consistently very high humidity (70%+) and must be watered only with distilled, filtered, or rainwater. Keep soil evenly moist but never soggy.

A very delicate, fibrous root system growing from rhizomes. It is extremely sensitive to rot and mineral burn, requiring a superior-quality, airy potting mix.
