Bolivian Wandering Dude

A low-growing creeper, typically staying 2–4 inches tall, with a long trailing habit.

The trailing stems can reach several feet in length.

Ideal for hanging baskets where it can cascade, or as a 'spiller' in mixed containers. Can be used as a groundcover in suitable climates.

Evergreen

Features small, ovate, slightly fleshy leaves that are closely packed along the stems. The top surface of the leaves is a bright green, while the undersides are a contrasting deep purple or burgundy.

Produces small, delicate, three-petaled white flowers in late spring and summer.

Prefers bright, indirect light. Ample light is needed to maintain the purple coloring and compact growth, but avoid harsh, direct afternoon sun.

Easy. This is a vigorous, fast-growing plant. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Trim or pinch back the stems regularly to encourage a fuller, more branched appearance.

A shallow, fibrous root system. The stems readily root where they touch moist soil, allowing the plant to form a dense mat.
