Aralia 'Balfouriana'

Can reach 4–6 feet indoors, but can be easily pruned to maintain a desired size.

Excellent as a floor plant for adding height to a room without taking up excessive space.

Evergreen

Features distinctive, large, rounded leaves that can resemble dinner plates. The leathery leaves often have a gently scalloped margin and may be solid deep green or feature attractive variegation with splashes of cream or white.

Flowering is rare in indoor environments; this plant is celebrated for its uniquely shaped and beautiful foliage.

Prefers bright, indirect sunlight. Can tolerate some gentle morning sun, but should be protected from intense, direct afternoon sun which can burn the leaves.

Low to Moderate. Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil feel dry. It is sensitive to overwatering, so ensure the pot provides excellent drainage. Prune as needed to maintain shape.

A fibrous root system that appreciates adequate pot space to grow. Use a well-draining potting mix and repot when it becomes moderately root-bound.
