Anthurium 'Vittarifolium'

This is a pendant-growing plant; its leaves can reach a mature length of over 4 feet.

The central growing clump remains compact at 1–2 feet, while the foliage creates a narrow, vertical presence.

Requires significant vertical space. Ideal for hanging baskets or pots placed on high shelves where its leaves can hang freely.

Evergreen

Features exceptionally long and narrow, strap-like, leathery leaves. The deep green foliage grows directly downwards in a pendant fashion, capable of reaching lengths of 4 feet or more to form a spectacular hanging clump.

May produce a small, slender inflorescence (spathe and spadix), but this is secondary to its magnificent cascading foliage.

Thrives in bright, filtered, indirect light. Must be protected from direct sun, which will burn the long leaves.

Moderate to High. Requires consistently high humidity. Water when the top layer of the growing medium feels dry, and provide excellent drainage.

A true epiphyte with a root system that is highly susceptible to rot. It must be planted in an extremely airy, chunky growing medium (such as an orchid mix) that allows for abundant airflow.
