The morning after we drove the Parkway, we woke up and headed to Maligne Canyon, and Medicine and Maligne Lakes. Maligne Canyon is deceptively long- I think it would be awesome to go back with two vehicles and do the entire thing from top to bottom. Like everything else in Jasper, it is absolutely incredible….

The Icefields Parkway | 08.03.17
Sometimes on these trips I feel like the universe gets together and decides to give me something really amazing when I’ve had a few disappointments. I was admittedly feeling pretty sad about Kananaskis and Moraine Lake, but it didn’t take more than a few kilometers into the Icefields Parkway before I didn’t feel bad anymore….
Banff and Yoho National Parks | 08.01-03.17
Oh, Kananaskis. How I love thee… and wish you hadn’t been rainy and gloomy and sad when we visited you. On our way from Waterton to Banff we knew we had to drive Highway 40 again, because there are few places in the world that I’m more obsessed with than Kananaskis Country. The K Trail…

Whew. This day was a crazy whirlwind! So much to see in such a short amount of time. Lots of short little stops to see as many cool things as we could. Banff DEFINITELY deserves its own trip! (Prepare yourself- photo OVERLOAD ahead.) We started off the day at Cave and Basin National Monument, which…
#ERT_2015 Day 4 – Waterton Lakes National Park and Kananaskis Country – 07.30.15
The day started pretty uneventfully; we went to the Visitor’s Center and got our stamp, stopped by the post office in Babb to pick up the package lovely Jeralyn had overnighted to us, (with Brady’s birth certificate… that was another whole fiasco! We had paid to have our passports expedited and they didn’t arrive when…
